Birthday Parties
 LIGHTS UP! Performing Arts Birthday Parties suitable
for ages 4 to 12 years. Delight your child's imagination by giving the gift
of theater. Come to our classroom theater and we will take the Birthday
child and guests on exciting interactive, action adventure stories using
dance, drama and song!
What Get in the
Act Provides:
·
The
classroom theater and lobby for an hour and half or two hour party.
·
The
lobby is set up for the presents (your guests should bring these) and the
classroom theater is set up for cake and snacks (you bring your own).
Tables and chairs provided.
·
Garbage
bags for clean-up.
·
A
Get in the Act! Theater Artist will provide 45 minutes of interactive
storytelling, theater games, music and creative movement. All coordinated
into a dynamic party your child will remember forever!
Parties are
held on Saturdays or Sundays from:

10:00
am to Noon.
·
1:00
to 3:00 pm
How many
children may I invite to the party?
·
Maximum
of 20 children
·
If
additional children are invited an additional instructor is required and
billed at an additional $40 hour.
What parents
are responsible for:
·
After
party, you are responsible for removing everything that you brought into
the room. A clean up fee will be assessed for any items that are not
removed including wrapping paper, decorations and food items.
·
Food
and drink must remain at the tables and are not allowed in the lobby.
Parents provide plates, tablecloths and utensils.
·
Supervision
of the children and party activities.
·
Decorations
may include banners, signs, streamers and tablecloths, no confetti or
glitter. All decorations must be removed after party.
Do the children
need to have some experience in the performing arts to feel comfortable
participating in the theater workshop?
No experience is necessary for creative
play. We open the door and allow the child to step into the world of our
imaginations. Party participants will never be put on the spot and made to
feel self-consicous - each child, based on their personality will be
allowed to move at his or her rate within their comfort zone.

parties?
Yes, the following story themes are

Fees
Access to the room is not available until
your scheduled party and you must leave 1/2 hour after your party ends.
Extensions are not allowed for any reasons. There is a $25 fee for not
leaving at scheduled time.

One
and half hour party at $200.00
·
Two
hour party at $250
A Get in the Act! Staff person to help you
facilitate the party. The above fees cover music and props and a Theater
Artist to lead your guests in forty-five minutes of drama activities based
on your child’s party theme. If you would like to schedule more or less
time for your childrens’ party we will be happy to discuss this with you
further.
Additional fees apply for space rental and
if a second instructor is required; studio theater rents for $35 hour per
hour and $40 for additional instructor.
How do I book a party?
Contact Get in the Act at (775) 588-8614 for
availability. Application must be turned into Get in the Act! at least 2
weeks prior to the birthday party. A cleaning deposit of $25 is required.
Full payment is required at time of booking.
